The Tides Inn

Stayed 2 nights through a vacation package. We are absolutely in love with this place. The inn has been the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in since starting our Atlantic vacation. Exceptionally clean!! Very modern and beautifully decorated. Almost all the furniture and linens are hand made and outstanding craftsmanship and presentation of everything. Absolutely lovely breakfast and the dining room/breakfast room is stunning. We could have sat all day and enjoyed the atmosphere. This hotel sure knows how to create a welcoming space for every part of your stay. The staff were most accommodating and very personable. We felt so comfortable at The Tides that we wished we had more time to stay. 100% Recommend. This is the place to stay while visiting Gros Morne. Bravo Tides. We will be back. Sharon and Noah

It’s tough to get a room in this popular area but we lucked out. We had room 10 which is 2 level. Check in was made easy as we arrived late and a code was provided. Rooms were extremely clean and the views are spectacular. Barb and the staff are awesome. Breakfast was great and included with our stay!!! I would return in a minute!!!!

This was a fantastic place to stay, everybody was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed 2 night but wanted to stay longer but they were fully booked. There is a clue there, book up early and stay a day longer :-) Everything looked fresh, clean, new. Some highlights: - the amazing view and balcony! - fresh breakfast to start the day, breads and jams, etc etc - great recommendations to experience Gros Morne National Park the best When we visit Newfoundland again, The Tides Inn will be the first piece in the planning puzzle to be booked.

Lovely, clean, modern hotel in this stunning little "settlement" Spent several days hiking the park and this was an ideal central location that is close to everything. Rob and Barb are kind and attentive hosts and are happy to accomodate any requests. We truly felt the legendary Newfoundland hospitality.

We stayed at the Tides Inn in Norris Point for 5 days and had a wonderful time. Robert and Barb were very welcoming and the room was immaculate. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony overlooking the harbour and the hearty breakfast each morning. We found Norris Point to be a perfect location to explore the stunning Gros Morne park. It is beautiful, and smaller and quieter than Rocky Harbour. It has good restaurants and a nice little hike on Burnt Hill. Best trip we have had in a long time. So glad to vacation in Canada, especially in Gros Morne in Newfoundland.

Breakfast, so many choices, rooms impeccable, service you could not ask for more. Friendly, local knowledge, beautiful view, comfortable beds, choice of pillows, excellent location. Large rooms stayed for a week.

We spent a week at Tide's Inn in the beautiful little coastal village of Norris Point. Tide's Inn is very nice, clean, and comfortable - it is also well-situated. Barb and Robert (the lovely owners) are genuinely kind and gracious.

The Tides owner Robert and the staff made us feel like we were coming home from away. Their smiles and welcome conversations and recommendations made our stay feel too short. Rooms are modern and very comfortable with beautiful views. The quiet setting was comfortably viewed from the front balcony or back deck. Breakfast was wholesome and included scrambled eggs, bacon and plenty of coffee combined with fresh fruit, yogurt,bagels and teas. Highly recommended and hope to return soon.

This is one of my favorite places on one of our favorite trips. The owners treated us like family, going way out of their way to make our stay memorable. The rooms were immaculate, extremely clean, and comfortable. We loved our stay there so much, we are coming back next year, same time and bring another dozen friends to this well-kept secret in this unbelievably senic town! Breakfast was always great. They even went out and bought the coffee cream I like for me! Amazing people! New friends for life. The fantastic trails, tales, and tunes festival was on all week with amazing talent as well. We used our Inn as a central point for our day trips all over the area, and it was perfectly located to many scenic day trips. Gros Morin Park is stunning, a must visit place. Fantastic place to relax and feel at home! Large comfortable, clean and newly constructed or renovated rooms. All the small details carefully considered. Beautiful view and close to everything in Gros Morne. Initially we thought we needed to stay in Rocky Harbour so we only spent one night but this is so close to everything that we could have stayed here for our entire trip! (And kind of wish we had) Definitely recommend and will be back!! Also very well priced!!
